When all brands are chasing in the marathon of smartphones then how can Motorola can stay back to be a part of this race? Motorola is known as one of the first launchers of the cell phones. Motorola has recently launched its new smartphone with latest android version as Motorola Moto Maxx on Wednesday.
It is a global variant of recently launched Droid Turbo that is exclusively sold in the US markets. Motorola has already announced about this phone that will be available from Wednesday from the company online store as Motorola.com in Brazil. Let’s check out what Motorola Moto Maxx is up to.
Specification features and Price:
The all new Moto Maxx is much like a Droid Turbo that features a ‘Ballistic Nylon’ build. The phone is up for sold in Brazil via company’s online store at a price tag of BRL 2,199 (roughly Rs.54, 000) for the 64GB model. Motorola said “It’s a high-quality, durable material with a distinctive texture and rich color – you might recognize it from outdoor gear, like backpacks.”
Moto Maxx features a 5.2 inch QHD display with a 1440×2560 pixels resolution and 565ppi density. It covered with protective corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen. The device has 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor paired with Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
Let’s talk about camera then device supports a rear autofocused camera of 21MP and a 2MP front facing camera. The device runs on the second latest android version that is Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Motorola packs this phone with 3900mAh battery that is the biggest amongst some of the high end smartphones like Sony Xperia Z3, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy S5 etc.
With this powerful battery company has claimed the power backup of 48 hours. The device supports Motorola’s turbo charger that is much like the Droid Turbo that gives 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging.
The device also includes 4G LTE with LTE Cat 4, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GSM/ EDGE/ HSPA+. This latest device from Motorola comes only in one variant of 64 GB storage. Like much of the Motorola devices in Android, it also has Moto display that can wake up the phone when user’s reach for the phone to show the notification and time.
Moto Maxx measures 8.3mm at the thinnest with dimensions 143.5×73.3×11.2mm and 176 grams of weigh. The handset also includes ambient light, gyroscope, accelerometer, Infrared, and proximity sensors.
The device is on high demand in Brazil from Wednesday and it will be available in Mexico from Mid- November while in other countries it will be available in later this year.
As there is no confirm news about the global availability of the phone so we can’t say about its launch in India. As in Brazil the device has gained lots of appreciation as the name of Droid Turbo so it can be possible that company will soon launch this smartphone outside the America.
